Welcome to Greenwich, CT

A close-knit community with small-town appeal

Popularly referred to as the Gateway to New England, Greenwich is one of the most affluent towns in Fairfield County, Connecticut. The 50-square-mile town is named after a borough of London in the United Kingdom. The neighborhood was settled in 1640 as a farming community, and by 1665, it was declared a city and was divided into 12 voting districts, which include Cos Cob, Riverside, and Old Greenwich. Today, Greenwich is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Connecticut and is a favored home base for Manhattan's wealthy personalities, as the neighborhood is about one hour via train from New York City. Greenwich features an attractive shoreline, fascinating parks, high-end restaurants, modern transportation services, and stately mansions, making it an ideal location for house-hunting professionals, families, retirees, and adventure-seeking individuals. Over the years, Greenwich has retained much of its original artistic feel, and today, you can find several art societies, dance groups, and theater associations active in town. The city also boasts the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, whose activities are complemented by an arts council.

Greenwich real estate is as diverse as it is accommodative. Everywhere you look, top-dollar waterfront mansions lining well-manicured streets and antique houses befitting the wealthy status of residents are tucked along quiet residential neighborhoods. Newer, modern properties blend beautifully with the town’s unique appeal.
